Fall Academy is open to players of all skill levels from age 4 to 6 (U5-U7). Players are trained “academy style,” which means they are trained in larger groups and with more emphasis on basic fundamental skills and player development. Professional and volunteer coaches train players by utilizing repetitive training techniques that are proven to help young players develop a certain confidence and a comfort level with the ball. Training sessions are held twice per week and will be 1 hour long. Saturdays are game day. Players split into teams and demonstrate their newly acquired skills and their competitiveness in small-sided games. The SHSC Coaching Director will help educate all small-sided coaches to ensure they are giving players the proper instruction. Please contact the club if you are interested in coaching with the SHSC.
