North Carolina State University, Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. 1983-1987.
Saint Martin’s College, Masters Degree in Engineering Managment, 1995-1998.
SOCCER EXPERIENCE:
Growing up, I played High School and club soccer in High Point, North Carolina. I also played in my freshman year at NC State University. When time allows, I still play in a women‚s adult league. I have coached for SHSC at the Recreation/District and Select levels for 10 years.
PHILOSOPHY:
I feel it is important to keep young women involved in team sports as teenagers and that is one of my goals for this team. I want the girls to want to be at practice and enjoy the sport and each other. My philosophy is to foster team spirit and enjoyment of „the beautiful game‰ by challenging them to meet and exceed their potential. It is important to me that the girls play on a team that challenges them to excel. My philosophy is that if you come to practice and work hard, you play. I also realize that girls at this age have many outside interests and commitments. This is the time in their lives they should be exploring these interests. I do not restrict my players from participating in school sports or other activities.
